Promotion Scheme
The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) is a flagship initiative by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, launched in August 2016.
Our key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating basic training through authorized Basic Training Providers (BTPs) for fresher apprentices.
- Assisting establishments in obtaining approval for Basic Training Centers (BTCs), if not already empaneled.
- Matching establishment requirements with suitable apprenticeship candidates.
- Mobilizing and counseling candidates to join apprenticeship programs.
- Supporting the design and NSQF alignment of apprenticeship courses.
- Uploading apprenticeship contracts on the apprenticeship portal on behalf of establishments.
- Uploading course syllabi and durations related to stipend disbursement.
- Submitting returns and reimbursement claims on the apprenticeship portal.
- Ensuring apprentices complete formalities for assessment examinations.
- Assisting with assessment conduction and certificate issuance.
